AAAC
About the Congress

Three decades of African anaesthesia.

Congress Identity

A continental gathering, rooted in evidence and equity.

The All Africa Anaesthesia Congress is the flagship academic and professional gathering for anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and critical care across the continent — convened biennially under the auspices of the African Society of Anaesthesiologists and its national societies.

AAC 2027 marks the 10th edition, hosted by the Society of Anaesthesiologists of Tanzania and Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), in Dar es Salaam — Africa's fastest-growing coastal metropolis.

Across four days, the congress brings together more than 1,500 clinicians, researchers, educators, trainees, industry partners, and policy makers from over fifty countries.
